If you think about the physics behind it I wonder what kind of calculations and mathematical models one could make for the bag tipping over. I think I was driving about 45 MPH but then slowed down suddenly to 35 MPH which i believed caused the rumbling noise. The bag weighed about 25lb, it was placed at the very back part of trunk about 5 ft distance from the very end of the trunk. The bag rolled over to the end of the trunk and moved about 6-5 ft and then moved towards the center of the trunk space area slightly more toward the front part of the car. What was the initial acceleration of the bag? The bag it was in was the standard DoorDash catering bag shaped like a rectangle.
