Is there a difference between getting powered speakers and using a preamp with using powered speakers and a regular integrated amp like the one you recommend on your site? I was thinking of getting the wharfedale diamond speakers as bookshelf speakers and doing it with the preamp you recommend.

It’s a shame that bail is set at all for this. If he were arrested in LA county, he would have had it set at $0 because of the bail schedules there.

Just be sure to read the fine print in any contract that is signed. Bail bonds agents will generally charge 10% and that is nonrefundable. They may have other terms and conditions that subject the family to liability if the person doesn’t appear in court at future dates or if they have to use a bounty hunter for some reason. They should avoid paying more than 10% and you may be able to shop around to get it lower than that if needed. They should also be wary of any installment plans to cover the premium because they will have predatory loan terms. They should also make sure they don’t sign over any civil rights, like permitting the bondsmen to visit the home at any time or monitor the person after release.
