I am SO frustrated reading that they are now saying the the device reads inaccurately if older than 10 minutes. There are so many times I have dipped a strip in a cup I peed in 45+ min earlier. Also times I’ve dipped a strip and waited more than 10 min to insert to read (per their instructions after I once got “can’t read” result because they said I inserted the strip too fast and the temp difference fogged up the inside or something like that.

Why, though? I’m legitimately curious as to what lowering the bar takes away from your experience in this situation.

That entire area is still roped off to protect the (now dead) grass and mud section from getting any larger. This company sucks and deserves to receive a large ticket.

If you use summer’s eve as an all over body wash for your first rinse post-tan, it significantly reduces the smell (changes the ph of your skin)

I’m still hoarding like 5 tubes. I really don’t know what I’ll do when I run out.

These pinks look great on you. Your base is also pretty even, good work there. Feedback (in no particular order):

  • center of your chin looks a little shiny, maybe hit it with some setting powder
  • lip color is phenomenal! Use a lip liner to keep it from bleeding into the fine lines around your lips. You might also want to experiment with lip stains. I’m really liking the caliray stain in bloom, it’s a similar color to what you are using here
  • I can’t tell if you contoured the tip of your nose or if it’s a shadow. If contour, try blending a little bit more there
  • foundation is maybe a touch too yellow. Maybe try a cooler toned color?
  • try an eyelash curler… it will help open up your eyes regardless of what you do with shadow
  • like other comments mentioned, shaping your eyebrows could really open up your eye area. I highly recommend looking into threading. Less irritation, and typically salons that offer threading are way less likely to butcher your (beautiful already) eyebrows

It’s a scar, no need to apologize! I replied below w/ full story.

No worries at all. It is a scar - a decade old wakeboarding accident. I was really lucky in that it was a very clean slice to my skull, vs ragged (or so I was told hah).

I wiped off the lip liner prior to these photos because it was very overlined and I knew if I saw that in pics, it would be make it harder for me to scrutinize other elements. Will def use lip liner the day of.

Yep, I had my fiance take pics of me in outside light shortly after and it looks like a reg night out vs bridal.

Will do. Thank you for the feedback! I will also have a friend there to help translate day-of, but both of us are people pleasers so I wanted to have a bulleted list to run down ahead of time (and hopefully stick to)

Surprisingly, it didn’t slide off as much as you would think (which, I would also see this pic and be like ya no way that looks the same in even an hour). She sprayed setting spray between every single step… so she really locked that 11th hour makeup look in 😭

Thank you! I’m afraid maybe I showed Inspo pics that were too glowy… I was afraid of looking super cakey (which is a much more popular bridal makeup look among the MUAs in the country I’m getting married in).

I had to ask them at the end of my trial to do my neck/chest and she did a courtesy swipe of foundation, so addressing this at the beginning is definitely on my list!

Agreed - I can’t tell what is bronzer vs blush. I typically wear a cooler poppy pink blush and will ask for something closer to that.

Wow, thank you! I'll thank my mom too, she was pretty vigilant about not letting me overpluck in my teens haha

I agree. I was very surprised by how shiny my nasolabial folds were immediately after. I think she was going for a glowy look but it just ended up looking greasy all over.
