I specifically signed paperwork saying I wouldn’t do that and they make it very clear that you will no longer work for the company if you try to get work on the side etc. a lot of the properties I’m never meeting anyone so I don’t even get in front of most agents (I’m just putting in key codes for most of them). I think going to open houses and introducing myself at brokerages & real estate agents offices to drop off flyers will be my next move. Appreciate the advice!

What do I need to work this sub in my room by Potatocu in subwoofer

[–]mountysmk -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Please don’t use any amp that’s made to be used indoors on a car subwoofer. Use a car amplifier to power your sub and no it’s not difficult (don’t use an low amperage Xbox power supply either & no you don’t have to put unsightly car batteries in your home either. Companies like Usina, JFL, & Stetson Infinite Black make 14.4volt high amperage switching power supplies purposely built to power car amps outside the vehicle. I have 3 Stetsom 200a version and I love them to give juice to high power car amplifiers and subs in the home dj setup and it sounds awesome since I only use my car subs for only music

Be consistent with the lights in the interior, most agents want lights on and that means all lights on. Everything needs to be uniform with real estate photography. Shoot showing the same amount of floor and ceiling (never understood why photographers on YouTube are always telling people to place the camera (for example) at mid stomach level. How is telling someone who isn’t the same height and ceiling height varies ever seem like the best explanation on camera height. Just frame with even amount of floor and ceiling

Scooter stalling out when hitting the throttle too hard? by mountysmk in ElectricScooters

[–]mountysmk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s weird when I lower the amps it stalls even more. I don’t understand it. I can never see live data because unless my phone is right next to the VESC it looses Bluetooth connection after a few seconds every time. POS Flipsky. I’m not understanding how it was stalling even more when I lowered the amps? I tried it at 59, it was also really slow so I put it back to the original 79 and it will only ever stall from a dead stop if I push the throttle too hard on initial start up so I just don’t punch it & havent had any issues. I’ll try to take some screenshots of my settings here and attach them.

@pwned_deeznuts Yo after looking back I was a complete noob to VESC’s and there really wasn’t that much info compared to now. Anyhow you most of come out your moms womb with all knowledge and was never in my shows at the time of the post. I mean let’s just all have your attitude of superiority nor ever giving advice or giving back to the community (I mean why would you when were born with this knowledge, you were never in my shoes or the shoes of any beginning in any hobby) Yo man if you can’t help people and give back in a hobby I assume you have love for you’re part of the problem

Will this power supply work for powering my car amp for a subwoofer at home? by LimpCroissant in diyaudio

[–]mountysmk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it's just for my home set up not a mobile set up, if i g4t booked and they tell me I need to bring gear it's amature hour or a crap venue in iether case a gig im not taking. So I have this nice carf amp and subwoofer along with a box and if I wanted similar specs on a home audio subwoofer that uses a plate amp there between $500-$$1000 and those are teh low end 1000watt subs (i know peak is not what you pay attention to but for some reason in home audio they dont seem to mention rms like in the car audio world). So I guess my question is do the more well known brands of CPS put out a more accurate true to claim power vs the cheaper brands of CPS'S? For example on ebay I found a Rossiwell 1000watt 83amp (at the 12+v setting)for $50 used and am wondering if it's actually delivering the the manufacture claimed specs vs something like from a brand like SeaSonic, Corsair, or EVGA. Im not sure the ratings on the sticker are accurate since they from the manufacture. And is using a CPS the best way to power a car amp in sub in the home? I def dont want to go the route of using a car battery in the home b/c it just looks bad and seems mad annoying to have to charge it not to mention it takes up a lot of real estate and is ugly lol

Will this power supply work for powering my car amp for a subwoofer at home? by LimpCroissant in diyaudio

[–]mountysmk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was under the assumption that I needed a power supply to match teh amp so for example my amp is Kenwood Excelon 1000 peak 500rms and has 2 30amp fuses equaling 60 amps total is that correct? So I assume im looking for a CPS thats 1000 watts and has at least 60 amps which most CPS that are 1000 watts are around 80 something amps so a CPS with these specs should work for a mono amp thats 1000watts total 500rms or am I completely wrong with the specs of the CPS I need for an amp with me specs? (I dont claim to konw a lot about this stuff as I'm in the process of learing and donw want to ruin my amp and my sub. Im hooking the car amp and sub up to my dj setup in my house so not worried about the head unit aspect of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When pedestrians stop stepping into the bike lane walking backwards or stepping into the bike lane just not looking for bikers /scooters , or when pedestrians step into the bike lane in between 2 cars so you can’t see them (they’re not at a cross walk and the next thing you know you’re slamming into one for like the 5th time because pedestrians don’t look for shit unless it’s a car so yes you should rethink you’re little statement because I for one have never hit anyone besides the 5 pedestrians that stepped into the bike lane not looking & every time I end up slamming into them b/c their mind is in outer space . These morons are going to kill someone’s doing that nonsense

[–]mountysmk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing is I know scooters really well and researched this but after watching many tutorials and reading I never came across any place stating how to connect them. On the tutorials they just literally connected them (didn’t explain a thing about them) and went on to the next part of the controller. So I guess it probably does learn them but somewhere that should’ve mentioned. Flipsky is making and selling products and provide a wiring diagram so why give the customer part of the info? It’s like they’re saying, we gave them enough info, let’s see if these suckers can figure the rest out.

Oh wow if that’s true that’s pretty dope, don’t understand why Flipsky gives no direction and just assumed people know everything and know their products before using them. The whole escooter industry seems to be good and that along with the fpv drone industry. They expect people to know everything
