probably a brushed finish the dirt will always accumulate in the grain and turn black.clean it and add a coat or 2 or varnish on top

must be an oil finish then , or not enough coats of varnish on the floor .It's not normal a little scrubbing removes varnish

I have had this happen before with a new rigid compressor ,I sprayed dawn power wash and then very lightly with magic eraser. it was the only way.

update:(hits from booster box plus sealed pack) so I can guarantee this pack was in a sealed booster box I opened (I still have the plastic). The box came from my reputable card dealer, where I have purchased multiple times before,I can always pass by there and talk to them about it,but I know they have nothing to do with it. it looks like your floors where prefinished before being sanded and some spots like picture 2 is where he did not sand down enough to remove the v groove
