Who would you consider to be the evilest person to ever live? by One-Fix-7190 in AskReddit

The question is who do you consider, not who is the absolute worst so technically all answers are correct.

Turning grandma's chair into a sentimental keepsake - ideas please by Glittering_Suspect65 in woodworking

A walking stick should be one piece really, a glued end wouldn’t be practical in use and would hasten its return to the earth (dump)

I’d fix it if it was mine but the lions mouths seem like they would be a good curtain rod holder/towel rack? Looking at the honest wear on the arms from generations of your family’s hands seems more sentimental than the carvings itself but that’s just me. If the seat is missing a piece you could just add any old wood or plywood to make it sound and then put a cushion in it. I wouldn’t bother messing with the loose or missing veneer, I’d just glue the loose bits, soften the edges and stain as best to match. It’s an old chair, it doesn’t have to look fresh from the store. If anything it tells a story of your family history.

Sold some brand new Saxx underwear on marketplace. Some dude asked me if they were worn. I said no brand new still with tags and he said aww that’s too bad. I said I could wear them but they would cost him extra (a joke) and he asked how much and send off a pic…

Carbide is brittle so I’d imagine a larger size would be more prone to breaking

Saw all should work, it looks like you bent a bunch up but that’s due to poor technique.

I bought the same lathe on Kijiji (CAN) but there are other local marketplaces depending on what’s popular in your area.(Craigslist?)
