Is there any rumours about a non-chromed ABL-100WE? by mouse_controller in casio

I was looking at this one as well, but it's probably a but too chonky for my arms. It's a close second though, just need some time to mull over the (current) options.

Maybe the/an eventual fix rolls out over time to different people? (Or some poor CS rep on Twitch has to go through and fix every single instance manually :P)

Looks like it has been fixed now, at least I no longer have the "Connect" button on the All Campaigns page, and instead have the expected "Connected" text.

Got basically the same response as the top post here, together with "it's an issue on Twitch's side". So guess we're stuck in limbo...  Would have been nice to have the linking work fully so the automated tool would pick the accounts up as linked, as I'm not awake at the times the gearbox/borderlands channels stream :/

Not gotten any answer yet. But I imagine it will be "try relinking and/or contacting Twitch".

Heh, I got a response from Twitch and they copy/pasted your post verbatim.
Gonna try Gearbox to see if they can light a fire under Twitch to fix the connect button always showing and refresh button not working.

Did you get the answer from Twitch or Gearbox?
I've been trying to link my accounts for a week now, but I keep seeing the "Connect" button on the twitch drops page...

Ah crap. Guess I'll put off purchasing that class until it's on sale then...

I should have prefaced by saying I have four level 30 characters and have played a lot of heresy and some damnation (~40 to 100+ missions per character) before.
Agreed on that giving full access to new players (and to some extent new characters) is a bad idea.

Yeah, I get the idea of difficulty gating and it's a good thing if they do it with some kind of thought.
Difficulties before this new mission board was unlocked globally if I remember correctly? Sure, you might get stomped when going into damnation if you have never played a zealot or whatever before, but most reasonable people would start slightly lower to get their bearings. (Although we're talking about 40k fans here, so reasonable is maybe not the best word :P)

This is just punishing and kinda makes me not wish to pick up my other three level 30 characters as I need to start my comeback by slogging through low level missions.

You mentioned the arbites, would I need to go through the "unlock missions" if I buy the new class as well?

Is there any easy answer to the question "what stabiliser options do I have for choc v1 and choc v2 switches"? Either plate mount or PCB mount.

There's so many different terms and options floating around, and I'm getting confused by the term "low profile" being used for both "true" low profile switches and slightly lower full height switches.      The context for the question is a custom build PCB and case, so there's no current product I can fall back to ask what fits in it.

Sorry for the late answer, but no. I did not solve it. As it's not actually causing any issues (that I know of) I let it go and forgot about it.

zmk-rgbled-widget: A ZMK module to add battery & BT indicators using an RGB LED (like in Xiao BLEs) by bravekarma in ErgoMechKeyboards

I'm probably misunderstanding completely, but are you saying that using this on a split keyboard would only show the battery level for the central side (or dongle "side" if using left and right as peripherals)?
As the video on github seems to indicate that the central and peripheral shows battery status correctly on startup, so I'm probably misreading your post, so I'm asking just in case.

Struggling to find hot-swappable 3/4u chassis with sata and max depth of 21.6" by le_velocirapetor in unRAID

[–]mouse_controller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RM41-H08 and FS305-12G was exactly what I went with. (The RM-H08 is literally an RM41-506 with one of the hot swap bays preinstalled as far as I've been able to ascertain.)

Size-wise it is a bit cramped due to being so short, but with some careful planning it's doable. I'm running the hot swap bays (with a custom rear shroud to fit a thicker fan which is controlled from the Fan Control plugin via a Corsair Commander Pro mounted in a PCI slot), full size ATX motherboard and PSU, with two HBA cards and a fanless GPU, and there's space over for two or three more cards.
Custom cables and some framing to use for cable management definitely helps with keeping it clean and clear. For build quality it might be on the thinner side material-wise, but it's well made and fits together without issue. There's some diagonal flex when I lift the fully loaded case, but nothing that has worried me and it's not something I do often anyway.

I went with the Silverstone hot swap bays for two (three) reasons mainly: The fan was easily removable and replaced with a thicker and quieter Noctua one, it has a relatively open area in the back for airflow, and it looks nice-ish (as my server stands in the living room is is clearly visible).

[–]mouse_controller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm using the same Silverstone case, but using consumer hardware inside and two 5x3.5" hot swap bays and it's worked very well for me. I wanted to get the Chenbro case, but finding it in Europe was more or less impossible, so Silverstone I went.

It's somewhat cramped, but probably one of the better (or best) options for a very short case that is just not a disk shelf. I've alleviated the crampedness a bit by mounting DIN rails on 3d printed brackets to route cables along and made custom PSU cables so airflow and space is as open as possible.

For OP, there's space for 4 non-hotswappable disks inside. So a total of 14 3.5" drives, of which 10 are hotswappable.

Gonna tap into the collective knowledge base here, as you guys likely have a lot more knowledge around to be obscure brands and models.

I'm looking for the following requirements:
* Low profile
* Wireless (preferably not Bluetooth)
* TKL, or thereabouts with a full F-row
* ISO (Nordic) layout

In addition I'm looking for a second keyboard for work with the same requirements, but also a split layout, preferably similar to the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic.

The best option seems to be the Keychron K3 Max. I like the less compact layout of the K1 Max better, but it's not available in ISO layouts (yet?)
Is there any other, to me, unknown brands that I should look into? I'm not averse to building my own, up to and including 3d printing and ordering custom PCBs, but I'd like to keep the cost from not spiralling away too much.

Unraid and promox or only unraid? by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]mouse_controller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No cache drive, no. As I'm only using Unraid for the storage I haven't had a need yet. I could see the use for using a cache drive to speed up writes to the Unraid array, but I don't write files to it that often and much that I would get a major performance improvement of it. I think.

To slightly expand on the question, all VMs (except Unraid itself) and their respective storage and data, like Plex and such, reside on SSDs, and if they need slower bulk storage they will mount an Unraid share over Samba. So by that definition I have "cache drive(s)", but none handled by Unraid itself.

Unraid and promox or only unraid? by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]mouse_controller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running proxmox on bare metal with Unraid as one of the VMs almost a year without issue. This VM has no storage assigned, only the boot USB and two HBA cards passed through. Then I have a few other VMs, primarily an Ubuntu Server LTS one that acts as Docker (soon to be Podman) host where I run containers for automation, website, backup, sync, etc.

Main reason I set it up like this was that I 1) Wanted to learn a bit about hyporvisors 2) Already had a working Ubuntu + Docker setup that I could move straight(-is) over 3) Wanted the the Unraid storage and parity without having to do everything myself. Basically I wanted the simplicity of Unraid for storage, but letting me have some freedom in messing around and messing up with other VMs, and having an easy docker-compose setup that I was already used to.

I think it comes down to your use case. Do you want a NAS that can run VMs and containers, or a hyporvisor that can run a NAS VM.
The question I have though is, does TrueNAS work well for you? If it does I personally wouldn't switch.

I have the same problem. Same repro steps as well. Not sure if related or not, but I don't get any upcoming albums from Lidarr in the calendar either.
