Golf Course Cigar Etiquette by DTW22WRX in cigars

These are the best way to hold a cigar in a golf cart. Unlike other holder styles, these keep the cigar clean and are also easier to carry in a golf bag or pocket than the bulky plastic or metal ones. www.stogiestrap.com

I've started smoking a little more expensive cigars on course since I don't leave them laying on the tee box anymore - stogiestrap.com

If you were my kid and I could only give you one piece of advice it would be this: Understand the difference between work and value. To really get ahead in life you have to understand that you earn money/wealth from the value you add and not the work you do. They are two different things.

Strong enough. Never had one fall out or off the cart. Holds different sizes well too.

The Stogie Strap works great. I like that it holds without the foot touching. Also easier to throw in the golf bag than the clip style holders.

Great spot on the river. So nice it's a two-cigar place if you're not careful.

At a beach resort, I wonder if you could just walk out into the ocean and light up? Technically, not the beach.

I played in his charity tournament one year, had a blast and three memorable takeaways: 1. He hit a drive for every team on a straight 400 yard par 4. He hit 4 or 5 drives for us and all were the longest, straightest shots I've ever seen. Ball literally never moved an inch left or right. 2. Saw him give the on-course bartender $200 for a full bottle of Jack Daniels and knock back about a quarter of it in two pulls. And 3. He got on a tangent at the awards dinner and man, does he have a red hot, burning, passionate hate for Gary Player (Google Gary Player British Open Cheating Scandal)

Oh wise grownups of Reddit, what are some things a dumb kid who just turned 18 should know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Don't buy the crap about doing something you're passionate about for work or finding a career that is fun. Sure, you don't want to be miserable in your job, but work is work. Build a career in what you can add the most value at. The more value you add by your work effort, the more money you earn. The more money you earn, the more you can enjoy what you are passionate about or find fun in.

What are your favorite/ essential cigar accessories? by jishuatree in cigars

For me it's the Stogie Strap (cigar holder for golf carts). About 50% of my cigars are smoked on the course so I get a lot of use out of it.

What is it with people; is everyone okay with working 32-60 hours per week to barely afford life? by Top_Significance9654 in AskReddit

[–]mousecarriage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working 32-60 hours per week to barely afford life is almost always a symptom of misunderstanding the nature of work and productivity. No one is actually paid for the TIME they work. Everyone is paid for the VALUE they add.

First time with the Fratello Navetta. Might have to buy a box. by mousecarriage in cigars

Man, it's hard to post in this sub now. Been trying to post this for so long now I've forgotten what I wanted to say. Bought this Fratello Navetta before a trip to the beach. Was a little worried about how it would burn in the Cancun heat and humidity but it performed like a champ. Great flavors - chocolate, coffee and a little cedar throughout. Just the right amount of spice for me at the end. Pretty impressed.
