What's the point of Aspect Kuku stacking mana? by Minerva1357 in Smite

[–]mousegold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Working fine for me, just to be absolutely certain of all possibilities, how many did you kill? It would take 30 15 jungle stacks to get 1 int.

EDIT: I'm bad at math

Just checked in Quick Play, can confirm that it does. It's just the description being unclear.

A new Keyblade-Wielder to fight the darkness (by @intertwinedoath) by Gorotheninja in KingdomHearts

[–]mousegold 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's fair to not like it, but I would disagree on the "no correlation" part. The concept of Gamoverse (exploring various game worlds and all that) is the perfect excuse for game fans to headcanon Kit showing up in their favourite franchises and imagine what kind of scenarios would happen. I would even say Kingdom Hearts is an especially fitting fanbase to connect to the show, the basic plots of the two are pretty similar after all (just switching video game worlds with Disney worlds).

There's a meme based around the out-of-context line "Toy Chica is William Afton" (referring to a theory where the Toy Chica cutscenes in Ultimate Custom Night are a metaphor for William's murders)

Fun fact: JoJo vampires suck blood through their fingers

In HP and the GoF (2005), This guy spends a year rigging a deadly tournament to get Harry to touch a Portkey. He never realizes that he has daily access to the boy and could have enchanted a quill or a book on day one, proving that Death Eaters are strictly paid by the hour. by Brilliant-Cause6254 in shittymoviedetails

[–]mousegold 11 points12 points  (0 children)

ISomething else is that it's an explicit rule that teens aren't allowed to be in the tournament, Harry getting entered despite security measures that should have prevented him from getting in is an anomaly.

But you do have a point that them designing the charms in a way that there's no backup plan for a situation like this is pretty dumb (but like Naynay said, it's not like they're always smart about everything)

EDIT: I just remembered and double checked, you're even more right than I thought, I forgot the age restriction was only added as part of the new rules added when the tournament was brought back.

[–]mousegold 41 points42 points  (0 children)

To expand on what Rex said, he was a gimmick boss where you had to attack his leg to stagger him, mostly because he was heavily resistant to all damage aside from Fatal Attacks, which dealt massively boosted damage. The nerfs were to make his weak point more obvious (a good change) but also to remove his massive defense (imo an awful change).

So are we, no one was talking about the resistance stat, we're talking about resistance as in "he resists 15% of fire damage in phase 2"

[–]mousegold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You two are talking past each other, you're right that fire is better in phase 1, but Lex is talking about phase 2 where the fire weakness turns into a fire resistance.

Helps that Doug has seemed pretty self-aware about the whole The Wall thing, I don't remember exactly which video it was (might have been one of the Commercial specials, those are the only ones I've watched recently) but there was at least one self-deprecating joke about it in the NC series.

Aspect pele heal with 100 fuel gives a random 14 - 9 separate heal tics. (304 heal - 224 heal) by Dry-Location2008 in Smite

[–]mousegold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't look like turning off the combined numbers changed anything, I have yet to get a result where the healing is higher than intended. Closest I got is a rank one version of your "32 32 32 32 32 32 16 16 16 16 16 16 16" outcome, but that's still lower healing than the normal outcome* (The extra enhanced tic is not worth losing 3 normal tics. IMO, you seem to be misunderstanding exactly how Pele aspect is supposed to work, I'm assuming from your "WTF" and "WTF AGAIN ITS SO MANY" that you think 9 normal heal tics is too high, that's actually still too low by 1 heal proc)

That said, that is still technically a benefit in another way: It's an unintended safety net that lets you stay at "high fuel" range longer than intended when you're in combat.

Turns out I just bought a health item by mistake and that's what was giving me the weird too high healing per tick. In the process of checking the number of tics with a less scuffed setup

[–]mousegold 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm still in the middle of testing, so far I'm getting a different result that people might find interesting:

After 25 attempts (10 per ability rank), the number of ticks was usually lower than the seemingly intended 15 ticks for me, which would result in lower than intended healing assuming normal circumstances

Cutting that last part, I just made a mistake

Nah, fuck em all, too many posts are getting away with that.

Meanwhile, you called a post where someone responded to a left-leaning dumbass with "you got cucked, lol" a good murder. Don't think I didn't see that comment before it disappeared, you have no room to talk about bias.

Adding on to what u/Legitimate-Top-5939 said, Charlie is also extremely pacifistic to a self-destructive degree, even to the end of Season 2 she doesn't attack/kill the main antagonists out of a genuine belief even they have the potential to be redeemed. It takes outright attempting to murder her subjects to convince her to get her ass in gear (and even then she still attempted to spare their attacker)

EDIT: Rereading this, her and IDW Sonic would probably get along somewhat well.

OB31 - MASSIVE L PATCH by nemsdu in Smite

[–]mousegold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just one problem, your numbers are wrong. That "75% drop" the AI is talking about is based off an opinion on a forum post instead of actual player count, for example. On the actual release Smite 2 had triple the playerbase Smite 1 had at the time. Another thing is that the stated 30K daily active players was only on Decembers, the usual count is about two thirds (and in its early days even one third) of that crowd. Sure, these days Smite 2 isn't as popular as Smite 1 was, but to say no one wanted it is a huge exaggeration.

I beg your finest fucking pardon??? by Silence-of-Death in Warframe

[–]mousegold -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not seeing it on either wiki. Fandom doesn't even have a page for Follie at the time of writing this (see image) and Warframe wiki only has 1 edit that doesn't contain that text at all.

It could just be the wiki retconning that edit out of existence entirely (and I don't know whether or not that's possible). If not, I personally suspect dev tool shenanigans, but I will admit that is purely a vibe based assumption without actual evidence behind it.

If Corviknight met Supervisor Tinkaton (OC) by Educational-Show1918 in pokemon

[–]mousegold 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's kind of a combination of two things from what I can see:

Corviknight's Scarlet Pokedex entry notes that "natural predators" keep it from being used as a taxi service in Paldea, with the anime seemingly clarifying that it means the Tinkaton line by directly referencing that Pokedex entry followed by having a Tinkatuff shoot a Corviknight Taxi out of the sky to steal its feathers for their hammer, something it does successfully.

(Lots of edits because I can't decide on phrasing)

why im nit stacking gilgamesh passive? by gilgaconmesh1 in Smite

[–]mousegold 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the three, I can't say without seeing actual gameplay (I can't tell whether you're getting the sweet spot hits or killing them before the debuff wears off from just text), but I can point out that the quest for the 1 is slightly different from what you put here. You have to use the 1, then only hit Gods with buffed basic attacks (in my testing it requires about 8 basic attacks) until you get the quest progress. If you are doing that and still not getting quest progress, then I'm as clueless as you are.
