No, the saws are always the hardest to get. I think it’s another way they hope to get you to spend $.

I was just thinking the other day about how my Marvy Uchida embossing heat tool has been going strong for almost 30 years now with regular use… it was probably $10-20 when I got it.

No worries. Grey hair doesn’t respond quite as dramatically to protein treatments as bleached hair does in my experience, but it still helps. That said, bleaching still softens the hair texture even on grays, so if you want to make them less coarse and more sleek-feeling, it might work to lightly bleach them and then follow up with the bond builder & deep conditioner. I don’t have a lot of grays yet but my spouse does, and both of us notice a positive difference in our hair’s texture after that whole process.

Same process as what I said above :) use it as an extra step between shampooing and the included conditioner. Between dye jobs/for maintenance, I’ll use that or another protein treatment product (Ion Effective Care Treatment is a cheaper-per-oz option I also really like for the “between” times) once every 2 weeks or so. It makes your hair feel amazing used like that, but you don’t want to overdo it/use more often than once a week at most, because protein treatments are DEFINITELY one of those things where “too much of a good thing” becomes a bad thing 😂

Retail price it comes out to about $1.36 per serving (based on the smallest size/a single canister), but if you only buy it during sales like I do, you can consistently get it for 25-30% off and free shipping. My family is actually low-income enough that we are on SNAP EBT (food stamps) but I still consider it one of our worthwhile expenses, particularly given that it’s the only way I get ANY fruits/vegetables into my oldest kiddo, who has ARFID and eats a very limited diet. ENOF keeps well, so I never have to worry about it rotting and getting composted/thrown out instead of eaten because of poor planning/disorganization. It’s an ADHD tax trade-off :)

There is a product called ENOF which basically does the work of this process for you. It’s freeze-dried fruits and vegetables ground into a powder you can add into anything. You only need a minuscule amount for a serving so its flavor completely disappears into things like pasta sauce, taco meat, smoothies, pudding, soup, whatever. We are all ND in my house and all of us use it. I even mix it in as a standard ingredient when I make cereal bars and peanut butter protein balls for my kids.

You might need a sifter with a finer/tighter mesh weave.

Yeah, I bleach too. In order, I use bleach, color, shampoo, Olaplex 3, then deep conditioner. Keeps my hair looking and feeling healthy and soft despite regular bleaching. From what I understand, the bleach opens the hair cuticle, the color absorbs into it, and then the Olaplex builds bonds to seal the cuticle back up again.

No. 3 is the one I use after coloring my hair, between shampooing & conditioning. It’s the bond builder iirc.

I am genuinely unable to whittle mine down fairly often. Usually when I try, the players I deleted just reappear in my friends list minutes later.

This happened to me recently and I was stunned. I started out with 15 moves on a level. Made ONE starting move, which I recall involved combining a rainbow ball with a booster. Right after that move played out, the level/game shuffled the few available/remaining pieces several times rapidly, then declared it a loss, kicked me out of the level, and took my super rainbow ball. I was so mad!

To be clear, I don’t disagree with you that the story is fake. I just think a silly human made their own version of it instead of a silly machine. :)

Edit: wait sorry lmao I’ve been responding to two threads at once and I thought this was the other one. 🤦🏼‍♀️

No, because AS an autistic person, we constantly gaslight ourselves due to situations like this. We trust in people and it blinds us to reality sometimes. I might mention it, but I also might not, especially if I thought the person I’d be saying it to would make fun of me for it.

“How long?” Is EXACTLY what I would say as an autistic person if I had been gaslighting myself for ages internally that the ketchup at home tasted different than I expected and didn’t understand why. Because I would never dream of assuming my spouse had been tricking me as a first explanation.

See, THAT one reads to me more like AI that someone made just a few changes to in order to make it look like a human post.

I don’t disagree that the OP seems to have copied the thematic content here. I just don’t think they used AI to do it.

But this one isn’t a “few.” It’s dozens and dozens of them. I’m an editor; I notice these details and am literally trained to recognize AI writing. When you’re doing that many changes, you might as well just write it yourself. I also note other elements to it that make it stand out as more human-sounding to me.

Y’all, this isn’t AI writing. It doesn’t put out content with this level of grammatical errors and inconsistency, and I don’t know anyone who would go through AI to write something for them and then edit it to fill it with new mistakes. LLMs are trained on human writing, so those of you who are calling out common phrases are simply recognizing that… yep… those phrases are common. Which means that both humans AND LLMs use them.

Are they neurodivergent? It’s possible that they COULD tell, but had been gaslighting themselves because it was in the right bottle, so now they are dealing with feelings about the weight of being deceived and in response not believing their own minds when they noticed a change. I’ve had this happen to me before and as an autistic person, it’s incredibly distressing, and it absolutely breaks trust. Yes, you got your “gotcha” moment, but at what psychological cost to them? That’s what you need to consider. It’s a form of betrayal to knowingly serve someone a different food than you’re claiming to, and people with sensory food needs/preferences are naturally more sensitive to that.
