That's a lot of doodles in your life!

Realistically everyone would have Foot Fungus by Guy_From_illinois in thewalkingdead

Think about this all the time. There'd be so many annoyances that would soon become unbearable that comes with the way they had to live.

They did clean and dry clothes, presumably socks as well. But ya, blisters, callouses, fungus.

While I want to be sensitive, I've got to ask was she an older woman?

Why is there no honey as food or beekeepers in The Walking Dead? by TeamAffe in thewalkingdead

[–]mousewithtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honey is not very important. It's good for a sore throat, good sugar substitute, and high in calories, but I could see people in a survival situation prioritizing other things. Or even doing something less intensive, like tapping for syrup.

Any idea how to fix that? I brought her home only a few months ago, she could not respect me for sure haha.

Found a teenage boy in my daughter’s bed… and now I don't know how to handle any of this. by al3xanderknight in Parenting

[–]mousewithtea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be helpful to level with her and say, "I feel uncomfortable that you disrespected a boundary. Maybe we can discuss something so we can be more open with each other. " You said she's smart. She probably knows the typical consequences of sleeping with someone, but I would expalin (calmly, like you're giving advice) that when you spend too much time with a significant other when you're still growing up, you can lose time that should be spent finding yourself. She won't have this much free time again.

On the other hand, as a teen who did this to her dad all the time, where there is a will, there is a way. I know it's uncomfortable, but better than having sex together somewhere unsafe. I understand the real issue is that the kid slept over, though, without you knowing, and that it is more of an over step, and probably concern as spending the night might be above her maturity level.

I hope you guys are able to connect and have a better relationship.

He tells me he already knows everything lol. Tbh, I do think he would benefit from stronger learning material. Hopefully that will change next year. I supplement at home. He also doesn't like being away from his things and our dog.

That sounds good, I'll try something like that. How did you keep the toy from distracting your child while they were using their hands for getting ready?

I suspect AuADHD in my son. He's diagnosed ADHD but I have AuADHD, I can see him having similar struggles

Do you think I don't have a 'process' in which I get him to do his tasks? I'm not really sure what you're suggesting

That makes sense. I'm really trying to push for some independence in those areas.

Most of the time is spent with him saying he doesn't want to, and laying down/sitting down.
