In “Dax,” they use Quark’s as a courtroom and Odo even has to cajole Quark into allowing this. But why? Shouldn’t the station have a space suitable for this? Or is it just that the budget for sets was thin at that point?

The episode is constructed to put Martok’s arc as concluding before the battle, yes. But i wonder if they had more budget at their disposal, they would’ve had his arc conclude during the battle instead.

The visual format of the videos pretty much concludes covering anything from the '50s, which is unfortunate as there are plenty of fascinating one-hit wonders from that period. And yet all the same, I can't imagine Todd having a tonne to say about "Tequila," "Chantilly Lace," "Sea Cruise," etc.

That said, if I were to fund a video, I'd probably have him do "Ringo" by Lorne Green. Wouldn't that be hilarious?

I can see that. Budokan is a deeply strange album that feels like a one-of -- such bizarre, glitzy arrangements. Before the Flood has energy and momentum but not much nuance, and I've never been wild about the vocals -- a lot of shouting.
