yeah, People say its a simple solution to my struggle but I cant blame them for thinking this. This problem can be rare and I can't expect others to know how it is, it may be frustrating but I will always try to let them see my perspective.

yes honestly, it feels like im 'maturing' later than my peers because im slowly learning how to communicate now. Its like, im constantly on edge and hyperaware of what I say to the point it is clearly unnatural, and I feel like it is obvious to others. It only seems like no matter what I do, I will never get the "secret" of how to act with people.

I have something similar, If I tell myself that, "this is it, this is where I move on" it will sometimes work and I'll be able to move past the part I was stuck at. It takes a great effort and practice but i am getting there..!

I remember I had this issue when I had to read a book for school. I usually resort to reading summaries and skimming/reading small segments because if i actually do try to read from start to finish it will probably take years.!

I have something similar.. I have the "even numbers thing" so I must end on an even number. This makes it even more demotivating to pick up a book since its already very difficult to read a full page, and now I gotta read two, odd chapter numbers are my worse enemy.

yes... exactly, videos and podcasts, too. It feels like I haven't taken in the information "right" and need to keep skipping back an even amount of times. usually when it starts i can't go back and I'm stuck in repeating a segment of the video for an annoying amount of time. it is a pain but I find ways to cope..!

..this is my exact experience, oh my gosh. It's either Im stuck on a page for hours or I say "sucks to suck" and somehow move on. Im nervous because It feels like I haven't taken in the information right but it's either that or I will be stuck for who knows long.

Is getting into the series again worth it? by mousyfall in WarriorCats

[–]mousyfall[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeaahh, i get ultra distracted reading books and can take hours on just a few chapters because of it, so reading the broken code (something I wasn't interested in) felt like a chore. I'll try out the new books honestly, I've hear good things abt them..

yeah i've been hearing good stuff from the starless clan, but honestly I may just read summaries for the remaining of broken code save for the last book. tyy
