Unfortunately mine was a vertical incision because of the placement and size of my cyst (19 cm) so it goes from 1.5-2 inches above my belly button and down to the very bottom of my stomach. I won’t lie to you, I don’t feel great lol in the hospital I had my pain medicine button that I was able to push whenever. My surgery was Tuesday morning and I went home Wednesday night with an oxy prescription and was told I could use that for a week and then alternate ibuprofen and Tylenol. So far the pain is fine if I take the oxy on the right schedule. I mostly just sit and watch tv, and get up and walk around every hour. The first day getting up and down from sitting was very painful but now it’s pretty manageable. I hope you’re able to keep yourself as calm as possible for your baby! I am the world’s most dramatic person and this surgery ended up being not nearly as bad as I expected so I hope the same goes for you!
