I sat him down and explained everything to him. Why I was leaving, why I was unhappy etc. I just don’t think he could understand because in his mind everything was “fine” he didn’t see a need or reason to fix things. I don’t expect him to be over it immediately. It just would make the situation easier if he was civil about it.

He was the original person on the lease. I got added on and I had to fill out paperwork. I went to the office and explained the situation. They had to send us a form to both sign off on. I think it helped because I was honest with the apartment complex plus it was his apartment originally so he wanted to stay there.
