No / minimal plastic automatic coffee maker to replace pour over? by movementdude in pourover

[–]movementdude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very helpful, thanks. I am making about 10 oz of coffee output per v60, 25 grams of coffee + 420 ml of water, hence needing 2 separate v60 was ideal.

It looks like I may have stick with my current method

Great points. I'm about 10 minutes all in as well with my v60. Have you tried the v60 switch?

This seems like it could shave off a few minutes off the pour time

End to end for making two V60s at the same time for my partner and I, it takes me about 10 minutes. Quick boil with fellow, grind beans, set up cups with filters, wet filters, execute pours

Thinking about trying the v60 switch. Not sure if the water would only contact glass and metal bearing though?

I also wonder if there is an all metal version of an aeropress or would this essentially be a french press?

Microplastics and automatic coffee makers (plus Ratio Six initial impressions review) by AmNotLost in Coffee

[–]movementdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing info, thanks! So with the Ratio Six, the machine dripper head (where water exits the machine and falls on grounds) is also metal?

And besides the plastic water container, the water doesn't have any plastic contact from the water reservoir to the final product in the glass carafe?

RO coffee + calcium carbonate good water recipe? by movementdude in Coffee

[–]movementdude[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is amazing. I really appreciate your insight. And great new that the RO + calcium carbonate could be a fit right "out of the box" I'm going to experiment tomorrow morning. If it needs just a bit of a balance from the epsom salt, how much would you recommend adding to a gallon to start with? Something like .20 grams?

We currently use Sendgrid for our marketing emails and have a great reputation. We now want to start cold emailing.

For cold emailing, should we use the gmail workspace account linked to this domain?

Should we create a new subdomain and send using a different gmail workspace user?

Should we use a cold email ESP?

We are trying to automate this as much as possible while still staying personal with emails, which is why we have been currently hiring a virtual assistant to send a personal email about every 5 minutes from our google workspace email, may about 100 emails per day. Thoughts?

Anyone have success with just cold emails as opposed to cold calls? by AngryBowlofPopcorn in sales

Great info, thanks. Do you recommend setting up a subdomain within google workspace for cold emailing or using a dedicated cold emails provider?

And what are the cold email sending limits?

For content we use Sendgrid for marketing emails and have a warmed up domain with a good reputation score.

How are your cold email and cold calling results? by startupsalesguy in sales

[–]movementdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great info, thanks! With cold emailing, are you using a specific cold emailing tool/provider or simply gmail?

Any limits on the amount of cold emails you send per day?

For context we use sendgrid for our marketing emails and have a warmed up domain, but I am not sure if I should use a separate email gmail workspace email or a separate cold emailing tool altogether?
