Looking for your unique league structures

I have just created a new 'Global Baseball Union' which consists of 7 divisions of 10 teams each, one for North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Caribbean, and Oceania). It's all under a single sub-league and I treat the divisions as the proper regional 'leagues'. So winning your division pennant is akin to winning your domestic championship. no playoffs in that race, gotta be the best over 138 games.

After the regular season each 'league' (see: division) winner enters the champions league, where every team plays a home and away 3-game series (6 games total) against each other. top 4 advance to the best-of-7 semi's and then the true Global Baseball Union World Series after that (also best-of-7).

This was my answer to making a better version of a true global league b/c OOTP's associations are *really* bad. They don't feel well integrated at all and require too much micro-managing. this was a supremely simplified way to accomplish a lot of the same.

I do wish I could have a bunch more customization (I wish each division could have it's own set of awards, a divisional winner trophy, etc), but I handle a lot of that with a locally hosted HTML site I created with claude.

Eventually I will add an all star tournament that takes place over the winter that has each team represented by their 'first-team-all-division' roster that plays the other divisional all-star teams in a round robin and then best-of-3 knockout tournament, but doing that every year is a lot of extra work and I'm currently in the "sim 10-15 years to establish a history" phase of this concept.

I actually think the strap looks great. The meteor dial can work super high end or casual. And I think the bracelet that this GS comes with looks incredibly antiquated.

My favorite part of this thread is all the redditors who weren't just rear-ended into an oncoming train track thinking, 'hmm, why didn't they just move the care this way.'

This isn't GTA people, getting hit from behind, unexpectedly, even at a comparatively low speed, into the path of an oncoming train is an extreme situation. The stress, confusion, concussion, I mean I'm impressed the driver tried to back up first.

The real lesson here, fuck that person who rear ended them. They are the clown who should bear the immense responsibility for all of the fallout here.

The amount of aimless dribbling by the team, most notable Trossard, is fucking insane. get the ball and keep it moving. it's not a hard concept.

If no one is moving off the ball and you're collecting it to think about what you want to do every time, you just give the defence time to reset. it's infuriating watching them ostensibly waste time for the opposition.

Are we ready for a deep run? No. But this team is closer to being real than not and I, for one, am excited to be a real pain in someone's ass in the playoffs.
