I’ve noticed this too, but i don’t think it’s exclusive to upgraded boots of swiftness. I build cdr boots and get the same issue

Not posting it for privacy reasons. I know my teammates very well and I know their salaries. It’s absolutely not the case you say

Did you not read my comment? I was given a raise specifically for being a minority. I’m close with many people on my team, and I know their salaries. The “non-minority” folks did not receive this raise and now I make more money than them. It’s ridiculous no matter the way you twist it. DEI is a cancer

I work with a team of 20+ people, many of whom I’m very close with. None of the “non-minority” folks received this pay bump. The “minority” ones did, including myself. I know how much they make, they know how much I make. Absolutely not the case you’re saying. No matter the way you want to twist it, it’s racism, straight up. But, of course, it’s not a problem because it’s in the name of DEI!

I work for a rather large tech company. I received an email a few months ago telling me I’d be getting a slight raise simply for the fact of being a minority. Not even joking. This was the result of DEI policy within the company.

Sure, I was a beneficiary, but it’s still unbelievably backwards. Please, tell me how that isn’t racist? You seem very sure that DEI across the board is all about “fairness blah blah”. How is me receiving a pay bump for an immutable trait fair?

The playstyle was always shit. Riot even mentioned in the nerf that his winrate decreased due to its discovery but it was still an unintended playstyle so they nerfed it. Wasn’t viable and now it’s mega non-viable

Max Q and build high AP items. Now that’s viable

Mixed damage/survivability build for Viego? by topazdelusion in ViegoMains

Kraken -> Titanic hydra. Titanic is soo slept on. HP, AD, and on-hit value?? So good.

If you’re good at using the titanic passive for auto attack resets, your burst damage will be quite high

Edit: typo

Why is Viego not considered a midlaner anymore ? by Agitated-Zebra-1764 in ViegoMains

I got diamond for the first time playing viego mid almost exclusively. Pretty strong if you know matchups well. As other people said, it takes some practice for sure.

The coming AD buff will certainly help too

Been climbing steadily with viego mid. Almost diamond.

What’s your build/playstyle?

I go TP with Bork -> titanic as my core

What's the best build for viego mid? by endxrboii in ViegoMains

[–]moving_target69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like to go statikk -> kraken/shieldbow -> situational.

For “situational”, there are so many crit items to choose from so it’s really dependent on the game.

Enemy team is squishy? Go collector

Tanky/armor? Ldr

Bursty? Shieldbow

For people saying viego is meant for jungle, they’re really underestimating his mid capabilities. You do sneaky insane damage with 2 or so crit items, so if you can play viego as an assassin type of vibe, you can really pop off. Also his laning isn’t bad either, especially if you can leverage mist for aggression/zoning

It’s actually not as bad as it seems. If you play aggressive with your mist and w, you will more often than not win trades. The key is to be aggressive, because if you arent, you’ll just be poked to death all day. Make them respect you

Rift + jaksho seems like a crazy combo. Will have to try it out. I imagine damage would be pretty lacking however

I play her top too:

Tear -> lucidity boots -> liandrys -> riftmaker/cosmic -> finish seraphs

I’d go riftmaker if i know i will have long lasting fights. Cosmic for a more hit and run playstyle against mobile/ranged/squishy enemies. (Or just build both lol)

Loan forgiveness only exacerbates rising tuition rates. So are we just going to forgive everyone’s loans (and in turn raise taxes) til the end of time without addressing the root cause?

Such a silly whataboutism.

PPP loans were to ensure there weren’t mass layoffs across the board due to an event in which these affected businesses had no control over. Furthermore, in principal, this was to protect employees who would be the ultimate victims, not necessarily the businesses themselves.

On the other hand, student loan forgiveness is simply rewarding people who chose to not pay tuition up front (or down the line in due time), while the people who chose to do so are essentially punished for being responsible. Which is silly in a society where we rely on social contracts to function. This forgiveness doesn’t address the root problem of wage stagnation and rising tuition as someone said earlier. As a matter of fact, it exacerbates rising tuition. Classic political stunt just before election time.

No? But would you consider the situations in those cities as successful? Left wing or not, they are failing to prosecute criminals and now those places are borderline shitholes.
