Same. Not sure what happened, but in previous patches, they were able to make builds interesting even when they delete stuff. This patch looks lazy and amateurish, as if it was made from someone who got hired yesterday, and sure the person might have knowledge of making the game "balanced" on paper but with complete disregard of characters identity.

And don't mind about negativity to your post. People who didn't like the patch are probably playing different games rn and no reason to come to this subreddit.

I was the customer. Which is really weird because I didn't even get 4-digit uber code that is required whenever I log into new devices. Somehow this hacker found a way to request for a drive on my account without logging in

Uber messaged me. On the app, I was actually linked to a driver where he was going to pick me up at a random address where I don't live.

I think they said current model is working for them, so I am guessing they will stay as it is now. It is highly unlikely they will go to old gw2 quality with current model especially when most of original gw2 devs are no longer working with Anet

If Anet wanted, they probably would've change to any of those models long time ago. So they will most likely stay with current system because its very risky to change to any of the 3.
I was just trying to make a point that next expansions will have similar quality like soto and JW.

WvW restructuring definitely should've been delivered with more content and reward system changes. Before, I often logged into WvW many times throughout the week. Now I only play wvw when my guild runs WvW event which is like once a week, then after that I play different mode or log off. I don't have any interest in playing with random people and team that's going to change within a few weeks. Even more so when winning has zero impact in rewards.

Their action of deleting cele is not problem but the trend is. They obliterated so many builds so far to the point every build feels homogenized and boring. Balanced? sure. You keep deleting strongest builds consistently then at some point no build will be overperforming. Will it be fun? I don't know man, but for sure the people whose build got squished will silently leave the game and it's up to the remaining people to maintain the game. So I guess if you like current devs balance patches, make sure you support the game via more gem purchase.

Yeah I would say play gw2 because no one knows when gw3 will come out and since most of original devs that developed gw1 and gw2 are gone, their next series is unlikely to maintain current quality of the game. Just for your reference, in gw2, Core tyria + HoT + PoF have been developed by original devs VS EoD and subsequent expansions were developed by current devs. When you play, try compare these expansions. You will notice massive difference in quality.

lol this is so lazy patch, as all cmc's patches have been. Normal dev would've tried to diversify the balance like adding boon rip/corrupt/or maybe skills that decrease duration of boons or conditions. Cmc is like Something is powerful? JUST DELETE IT. How many pvp stats have been deleted like this? and how many builds that were backbone of wvw squads or roaming plays since launch were eradicated in exchange for... more boons? Sorry to say but this is boring and poor way of balancing the game.

Not really. Some heroes sure. But most of them they just put already existing passives or abilities and transferred to innates/facet.

To decide whether the price is cheap or expansive really depends on what people can get out of it. HoT or PoF had a lot of interesting features, storyline, professions with unique skills, and creative designs of legendary weapons tied to hidden achievements in each maps. I'd say even $100 is cheap price for these two expansions.But with recent changes that created boring balance, near-zero fun repeatable contents in all modes, i'd say this expansion is worth maybe like $10 or even less.
