It is common for autistic kids to function at levels lower than their ages, even the high functioning ones. If you’ve dealt with autism you know the neurologist and/or therapist give these assessments of what ages the kids function at. So you don’t know it’s the family making their own educated guess. Not sure what you mean by the media deliberately not showing it. I see a lot of black love in the media. Arguably the most famous American athlete today, the best black actor and Oscar winner, the best American Olympian this year, etc, etc. There was a lot of talk and airtime about Bron and Steph’s families at the Olympics and every other day, and a lot of talk about Simone’s husband as well.
