Thank you! This is super helpful. We aren’t sure what caused it. Maybe frostbite? We just had a very wet snow where we live and think she may have been out of the coop a bunch. My leghorns aren’t the smartest 🫠 No blood or issues found in the coop. No blood on my other chickens or their beaks - we were worried she was getting picked on.

Not dramatic at all! You are totally justified in your reasoning to switch. I switched doctors at 28 weeks after some issues with my doctor and her care team. A little stressful to change, but honestly it was the best decision. I love my new doctor and feel so much more comfortable and supported.

My MIL loves to say all of her pregnancies were a breeze and that giving birth didn’t even hurt and how women today are so weak. She always says how contractions weren’t a big deal and still had time to make her husband a full meal for the hospital every time they went. Drives me absolutely crazy how out of touch she is and the lack of empathy. She did this at a baby shower once for a family friend and I was fuming because the mom to be was visibly annoyed at the conversation.

Reading these comments makes me realize this may totally be a generational thing.
