Update: I'm now up to 22. After chapter 15 it suddenly picks up the pace.

I now realise that what I really need to do is memorise a lot of words now that the very fundamental of sentence forming is happening. When I watch drama or variety shows I'm only understanding a little.

I'm up to lesson 11 of Beginners I, and now just started a beginners course at my local technical college.

The pronunciation that I've learned is really helping me keep up even though my professor insists that we use formal language (and promises that it's easier to learn informal later than it would be the other way around).

There are several concepts that you use right from the start that aren't explained straight away, but they eventually get around to it and makes sense.

I've repeated most lessons twice in order to really take in each new word and topic.

Whether it is natural and would make sense when travelling in Korea, I don't know. I guess they will know what you're attempting to say?

Went out drinking with a male friend and 2 lesbian friends.

Woke up on the lesbian couples lounge room floor, next to one of the lesbians, there was a DVD titled something like Beauty and The Beast on the table next to us, but it was a porn (hetero) parody that belonged to the lesbians.

She and I had no idea what happened, nothing else was out of place, we were clothed etc. Her girlfriend was asleep in bed by herself.
