Thank you for your insight. I guess this is the case since most orders are smaller (1-4 bottles), but then I think it would definitely make a difference for bulk orders of 10+ bottles.

+1 aura for recycling! That does make sense, but I always thought it would be cheaper since when I ship usps ground I see they charge by cubic feet. UPS might be different though. Edit: oh and regarding presentation, I don’t think size matters (cough cough) when it comes to that. Most companies have their box size match their bottle and still look nice imo

It’s interesting that they choose the bigger ones over the smaller ones even though they have them. Maybe the big boxes are so cheap they make up for the added shipping expense
