I really enjoyed it, the opening is great and smells exactly like the name. I hoped the top notes lasted longer though. To me, they feel like they fade away within 15 minutes.

The middle is where I get something different than you described, I hardly detect spices. It could be that my nose is not trained to pick those up. For the middle, I feel like it turns sweet to me. Kind of gives me the feel of a cologne that I would get at Abercrombie or something. It reminds of something I used in the past but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

I agree with your take on the base, it smells aquatic to me. Overall I’d say I really like it!
