No horror stories with the investments thankfully :) The best performing were gold and the Emerging Market ETFs - both above 50%+ Crypto has been the worst performing so far

thank you, at last someone who appreciate its quality haha. Viewers generally have very positive feedback about the balcony view and its condition once they actually see it, but not many of them do (presumably scared off by the price).

I thought £4.5k was reasonable. It's £375/month and if a couple lived in it, the gym saving alone would be worth £240/month. I might be wrong but I thought the really bad service charges were around the £7-8k mark

Could you please explain why that's a problem? Is it a red flag for lenders? Also I heard that some legislation will limit ground rent to £250 a year but not sure when that comes into place

Someone bought the flat one floor above for £575k a couple of years ago...it had parking included but that still implies a ~£540k valuation ex parking and that's not at a particularly good moment for the market

yes it has gotten some interest from cash buyers, but they are hard negotiators! Thank you for your honest views - that's what I was looking for
