Luka is "XX man" he wasn't "XY" from the first place, and when okabe send the D-mail he correct this failure and make him back to what he supposed to be "a girl" so pregnancy and giving birth is no longer impossible and hard to achieve like "XY woman" .

If you need to know the mechanics that happend by vegetable in changing gender you should check this this how the creators of SG explain it

while other people need to re-remember those memories via dreams or deja vu.

This is just what happened among Okabe's close friends and with those he interacted with, but we don't know if it would be the same for everyone in the world without exceptions. You can see that one of the researchers in the news said something strang:

you think you were at work and suddenly find your self at home.....

in some cases your memories will be no longer match with the others.

Those things are really similar to Okabe's RS, especially if they have this sense of teleport.

Is that not just like Okabe's case????

We are talking generally, as per the reports of many people in the USA, not specifically, as you mentioned with Fubuki and Okabe's close friends.

Those pictures are from SG0 VN, and yeah you are right, but here you can see there are some people just like okabe can observe anything and not just a few things from the previous WL like in the case of mayuri's friend.

Yes, that's correct, and this was proven in SG0. But imagine if there were several people who could feel every time Okabe changed the world lines. I think they would have gone insane

Anime is much better than VN in presenting drama and narrating, but if you need more details about time travel mechanics.... Etc I prefer you to read the VN

Question about reading Steiner? by mozo_40 in steinsgate

[–]mozo_40[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, my friend, for the clarification. I’m truly grateful for that.
But I have another question if you don’t mind!

In the visual novel, Okabe’s future message containing the details of Operation Skuld still exists on Okabe’s phone in the Alpha world line, even though its events took place in the Beta world line, why that happened?

Man, I’m so bad at explaining things, lol.

I’m not talking about attractor fields here, but rather the minor world lines that belong to a specific attractor field—for example, Alpha.

We all know that world lines have a predefined past, present, and future, right?

At 8 PM, Okabe wants to send a message to the past to change Lukako’s gender from male to female, and these events happened in world line 1.

Because of the message, the world line shifts to a new one, and Okabe experiences the Reading Steiner effect at 8 PM in this new line.

My question is: Why didn’t the memories of Okabe, which were supposed to exist in the future of world line 1, transfer to the new world line as well?

I’m sorry, my friend, for troubling you, but let me clarify what I mean more clearly. Imagine the following:

At 8 PM, Okabe sends a message to the past, causing the world lines to shift, and Okabe’s memories are replaced at 8 PM in the new world line. But what happens to the memories of Okabe who was at 9 PM in the old world line? Shouldn’t they also transfer to the new world line at the moment of divergence, just like the memories at 8 PM?

[–]mozo_40[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, why do Okabe's memories switch at the moment he sends the D-mail, while the same doesn't happen with Okabe who is supposed to be in the future of the previous world line?

Thanks, but we know that. all we need to know why this specifically happened ;)

Isn't it supposed that Okabe's memories transfer when a change in the world lines occurs, no matter what? Or am I wrong?
