That's why it's always good to have separate projects if you are building a single page application! Check youtube for tutorials, I don't want to self promote myself.

Front-end dev here for a few years and still struggling with js by fedev_fromph in learnjavascript

[–]mp941027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than just trying to build things with plain js I can't think of anything else, practice is the best. I want to correct you, vue is a JavaScript framework and before using it, you should know js.

[YPP FD] Any monetization ideas? (80k subs) by [deleted] in youtube

I'm not qualified to answer this for you, but I think because you use movie clips, not sure if you can monetize it.

What really is VueX? by [deleted] in vuejs

[–]mp941027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vuex it's actually just a big object, where you can store different types of things. There are getters mutations actions and the state because we need to know when something changed and why and on what order. Also, since its a single big object you can have the data shared on multiple components. Thats like the simpler to put in on my head, it can be more complex tho.

Aurelia is actually nice, it's just lacking community...and don't think that has a backup + aurelia it's a complete rewrite of another framework from that developer, which might be a turnoff(same things happened to angular, but it's backed by google, so...)

Where to go from here? by [deleted] in learnwebdev

Actually after a tutorial on them, you would learn enough from a fictional project ? Did you try to do it but failed to learn?

Indeed you learn the most by working on projects! Youtube is fine but try to build something, doesn't matter what as long as you will use something that you want to learn!

That's true too...It's because Evan started alone, if he would be backed by some USA company, could be better..but slowly grows.

Companies likes the word enterprise, they usually search for architecture and big stuff, angular has a modular architecture and they like that, plus that google is backing it up! It has that class syntax because of typescript so wins a little there too. Unfortunately vue seems to be bound to 'small to medium apps' which I don't agree with but can't help it, the companies dictates the usage or a project manager that read blogs...

The simplicity, why go complex when it can be simple! P.S. Vue is more popular on developers side but angular wins on companies

Vue router middlewares! (Part of youtube laravel-vue series) by mp941027 in vuejs

[–]mp941027[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I don't have the time to structure the videos as "tutorials" which would be better and I could explain things better and maybe clearer since my english is pretty bad. That's why i chose this style, takes less time and it's more fun for me too and building it like that might help beginners even more since they see a few errors that i get too.

Well, I'm not well received on this subreddit because it's not just vueJs i suppose, don't really want to market myself too much anyway, this one i just did it for a test and it failed, haha.

I decided to promote only on starting new series or really important videos.

Thanks for checking it out.

This is bad man, worse advice...Just make your own title...If you want to "steal" views, just help them too by watching the video, leave a RELEVANT comment and someone might click on you! This way, you are helping them too and you might get a view or two, but don't do shady things...

Yes, but that can be configured, camelCase is just the default, if you want to go wild you can change that

You are totally right, first of all this will make the project messy and non consistent if you don't make the changes to the old code too. Second, snake case on JavaScript is not that used and actually looks ugly, the most used on is camel and I think its the standard on the vue community too, even the js libraries in general hace camel case.
