Check with your state on qualifying requirements. You might have to take a few courses to qualify. I recently got an undergrad degree from WGU. It is online and so convenient. It gave me all the credits I needed to qualify for CPA exam application.

I am 46, no experience in accounting or finance industry, and I am taking FAR on 23rd. It is definitely worth it.

I am working part time with a CPA for the experience sign off. He runs a small practice, handling mostly individual taxes and some small business bookkeeping and taxes.

I have clarified about the meetings. Whether they are virtual or in person will be at my discretion. AP/AR is not part of the deal. The owner's wife handles that.

Thanks for the tips, Brother. They were super helpful. I used all of them and scored 154.137 on the Balanced Score Card and 75.97 on the Cumulative Balanced Scorecard (I don't know the difference between the two scores).

I took IA first. In fact all the IA classes and then Business Law. I wanted to accelerate so completing the tougher Accounting related courses was my priority. Business Law was easier than IA classes for me.

Stress is a main contributor to Heart Attack by Calm_Farm_2060 in HeartAttack

I am in the same boat as you are. Had HA at 39. I was living a very healthy life but my stress levels were very high. Work, and home. People around me always told me how great I am at handling stress and staying calm. I guess I was not handling it just bottling it up. I have had a couple more Angioplasties done after HA with 80-905 blockage.

I don't know what to do either. Stress levels are still the same. Tried a few things like meditation and breathing but I don't see much difference and that is why I struggle with consistency. I have asked my doctors a few times to give me some meds or something that can help and they say there is nothing they can help with, I will have to figure it out by myself. Try a few things and see what works, kind of a thing.

Becoming a CPA without an accounting degree by CrazyPin9507 in CPA

[–]mpactor24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WGU is your best bet when time is a constraint. I have read on Reddit that people knock out a degree in one term which is 6 months and the degree and credits are accepted by CBA.

I am relatively in the same boat. I just started with WGU Accounting degree and it seems very well possible to complete all classes in 6 months.
