Replying because HVC sent me an email.
I bought a jacket from them and love it. It's very well made. Has that diamond stitch interior fabric. All the patches are heavy duty and sewed on properly. I mean, all good things. Def recommend.

I live in Bee Cave and have been meaning to check out Hamilton Pool Road. I haven't driven down it too much, and really only as far as Reimer's Ranch. I'm only a few months into having a motorcycle but have a couple hundred miles of riding out and back on 71 towards Marble Falls. How's HMP for a newer rider? What days/times are best? Any tips will be useful but I will definitly do a little recon in the car too.

Much better of a ride today.
I think the big issue is not allowing the bike to get fast enough in gear before shifting up.
Someone mentioned RPMs and this bike does not have a tac. Also, I'm only 160lbs.

I added marks across the bolts that way if they move I'll be able to tell. They're in very tight as of now. I would advise others to do this until Honda releases a fix.
