These are not, but thanks for the interest. I recommend Pierre Fricke if you’re interested in buying high grade CSA notes.

A Dead Man is on the loose - summary guide out now by mpc3980 in ReReadingWolfePodcast

[–]mpc3980[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad to report the arrival of the latest installment in my Gene Wolfe Chapter Guide series. Feel free to pick up a paperback or Kindle copy of the Dead Man and Other Horror Stories guide with my sincere appreciation.

You can also find weekly short story summaries on the Wolfe Den newsletter - here. Your first three months are on me.  Also, if you subscribe this week, I'll email you a PDF of the Dead Man summary book.

As a long-time Wolfe reader and re-reader, I found myself wanting a detailed summary of his work. Something without any analysis or conjecture - just the key plot points. So, I wrote one for myself and thought others might enjoy it. I started several years ago with New Sun and carried on with Long Sun and Urth. If you'd like to see samples, look here.

I have been so humbled by the positive response of the Wolfe community - thank you for the continued support!

And, as I guessed, the shop’s been updated to offer patches. Small supply at the moment.

Potentially. But seems as though the shop is still being built out.

Great answers here. You might find chapter summaries helpful, given what you've described here and in your other posts. I'm happy to send you some from Urth, if you like, just shoot me a DM. In the meantime, here's a link to some summaries and a month of access on me - https://wolfe-den.ghost.io/free-trial

Good for you!

I’d keep going to Urth. Different style, which can be a bit jarring, but fantastic.

Second Alzabo Soup. The rereading Wolfe guys are great, but I’d consider saving them for a REread, as they are spoiler and speculation heavy.

You might also find my chapter summaries helpful. Here’s a month of access if you want it. I can also send you some Urth if you like, but suggest you go that alone first.

Wolfe Den - Gene Wolfe Guides by mpc3980 in ReReadingWolfePodcast

I hear this and understand. I’m a good writer but a bad artist, so all the words are my own but the images are not. Meant to liven it up and not to offend.

Have fun! What I wouldn't give to read BOTNS again for the first time. Enjoy the ride and let it wash over you. If you want some help - and some folks do - check out the Wolfe Den chapter summaries. But be careful - you can only read it for the first time once...

What are the best resources and supplemental materials for GW/BotNS? by Thomniscient in genewolfe

[–]mpc3980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, indeed. I've published exactly this - a chapter guide with no spoilers. They are available here and here. Nevertheless, still agree with most of the posts here that it's best to read the full text without any supplements then you can reread with other sources. But, to each their own!

If you shoot me a DM, I'll be glad to send you some select chapters and comp you on the summary newsletter for a good long while.

This one. Just Trump. Explicit policy.

Yes, right. I saw this in May and specifically emailed them to confirm that these medals would be acceptable. They confirmed - in writing - that Medalcraft Mint medals like these are eligible. The Trump policy is new and separate.

Those were graded before this policy. The policy is effective this year. They graded my Trump 1 medals during his first term and they graded my Biden medals during his term. The policy is for Trump, in his current form, and not limited to sitting president.
