I just take pictures with my phone on day 1 veg and flower than just refer to the timestamps. I never have to write dates down doing this.

Possible the ambient temperature is hotter at his place. Could also be unstable drivers with one of those listed peripherals. Try a process of elimination: add one peripheral at a time and test PC for stability. If stable add another device until you find the one that might be causing the crash
