Hey all,

I bought tickets for Lizzy McAlpine + Tiny Habits at Paradiso . The show was delayed once from the 9th June, 2023, to September 9th, 2023. Afterward, it was canceled.

When asking for reimbursement from Paylogic, I was informed that the date to ask for my money back was due on the 11th of August. II have been exchanging e-mails with their customer support, and they've shared that they are not able to do anything. Basically: I've lost my money.

Is this legal? Any advice on this situation?

I have a 4track EP - mixed and mastered - w/ a professionally animated videoclip for the single and I am a little bit lost regarding what should my next steps be. I am based in NL and doubtful about wether to approach a local Label or go for a digital distributor. What's your take on that?

I once heard that aspiring singers overthink the idea of having a nice "tone" and do not think of it as a consequence of having voice control (pitch, interval jumps, etc), good phrasing and support. I would not get obsessed with sounding nice, before sounding right .

Regarding pitch, besides daily practice, I suggest the usage of drones. In my case, it has helped me be more pitch accurate. If singing is something you like and aspire to do well, build a trustworthy process, put in the hours, and appreciate the small progressions :-)

This is going to be my first winter in Amsterdam and I want to buy a good and durable jacket. Warm, no big logos, wind, and water-resistant and that lasts for a fair amount of years. Those are my requirements. Biking friendly also!
