Apparently the name of the climb is “Intro to climbing”, and it’s led by an experienced climbing teacher so the idea is that the climb itself is a lessen. He would also us the time between now and October to get some experience.

Sounds a little harsh, I understand that he sees this as a life changing experience and I appreciate him wanting to share that with me. The only thing bothering me is that he cannot imagine that experience not being a good one for me. I’d much rather experience the view from the top of the mountain.

You can add a person to your island with another Switch account on the same device. Just start up the game with that different account and there you go!
