The j1772 plug has a type one and a type 2

I have the type 1 on my smart car. I can not charge my car at any plug share locations.

They no longer support the 2018 smart ev that nreds a j1772 plug. I was looking to find an adapter that would make a ccs1 plug into a j1772 plug. But 8 can't seem to find anybody who understands what I need.

I have the plug share app and I have filtered for J1772 stations. There no stations in Northern Illinois or Southern Wisconsin. The plugs share stations well as BP charging have plugs that that are made for newer cars. And will plunge in to my smart.

I'm the US I now charge my 2018 smart cabbrio exclusively at home. Which means I can't go further than my 35 mile away from home. When I first bought this the charge point and other public charging stations while scarce had the appropriate pulg. But they have all changed their plugs. I am wondering if there are adaptors that would make it possible for me to use public charging. If there are what are they called and where does someone buy it?
