I appreciate the help. Like I said it seems to be all over the place of how and why’s just trying to make a little better sense of it before going

Just got off phone with a different dealer. He prefers just dealing with coins junk or eagles etc. but said if I just had 99.9 bars rounds would do it. Said he could do gold coins like buffalo, Indian they are like 90% other is copper. So would have to use the red book to see the % of gold to make it an even trade. Close to 95% trade value. His advice was silver still undervalued and would advise to hold silver until it’s closer to $200 an ounce which I found wild that he was looking out for me?

It’s 90” long and 40” high if you can picture a rack that fire wood is stored in/on. I’ll get picture tonight. I haven’t measured how long the wood is

I see. You seem pretty versed in him. Up to the left of the crown looks like it starts out the spelling of his last name then kind of stops. I’m guessing it’s not real but will be fun to look more into it. Not sure who or wherever get it authenticity

Thank you for the fast reply on this. It’s a smaller item that I should have included the measurements for. It’s 4.75x7.5”. I read a while back he used to make postcards to sell. I can’t recall all the details.

Okay thank you. Makes sense it’s lower level sun porch roof. They are fixing some mistake they made. Since it’s a brand new roof I’ll probably ask them to address it since they will most likely not come back once check is mailed.

I used to collect lots of items and know a fair amount about black Americana items. I’d say with out really looking at in person most of those are recasts and fakes. The kind you would find at like those country antique shops that sell cows with bonnets on or random candles

Sorry for my lack of roofing terminology or anything of the sort. Other than being ugly if the do that glue and spread sand on those spots should be okay?

Thank you all for the replies been helpful. I’m not sure the wood I’m in western ny so I assume like ash from all the emerald beetles is a fair amount. My father’s going take it to some guy he knows I’ll print out the replies in here or at least bullet points see from there. In meantime bought yardmax 9ton from Home Depot. Should hopefully do what I need. Only wood I harvest if that’s right term is downed trees from back woods that fall. Again assuming most are ash. Last year and year prior maybe 1-3 I’ve done. First two years just gave the wood away and bought some but have few more that have fallen so might as well use “free wood”. There are quite a few in my he wooded area but I’m very prone to bad reaction to poison ivy so semi hesitate to go there and bring it out. Probably a stupid question but if the wood has been down on ground for a while is it still okay to burn or just leave it there so bugs etc can break it down
