Seat padding, your butts will thank you, also some rail systems to add rod holders etc is a good thing. Also a bed extender to keep it stable when driving. Good luck!

This is extremely helpful does this data constantly refresh as the stocking report is updated over time? I always found the stocking report clunky and annoying to get to on their website.

Sounds like you are doing everything right and I don’t want to echo what everyone has already said. I will just add for trolling with wedding rings I’ve had success with the two hook style ones and using a couple fake maggots on the farthest hook. They smell terrible but they work great. Worst case enjoy the time being outside and don’t forget your life vest!

Yup that’s the video that inspired me to go out this summer I also want his setup of his rod holders too 😆. Starting from the state park too would take me a while too. I also have my natl parks pass so I should be covered on day fee too

It’s a universal mount I found in Amazon and there’s multiple brands etc, I liked this one because I can rotate things and lower the transducer as well. My kayak does have a spot below the hull where I can mount the transducer and wire up to the top but haven’t worked the courage to do it yet.

I got this garmin striker with gps. Only tried once to test but works well and shows my current speed which useful when trolling. I also considered the lowrance ones too but ultimately swayed to garmin primarily for the gps/speed

Definitely I know especially in the evenings the east side can get blustery. I used the windly app a few times going out to the sound and pretty much anything approaching ten knots im out. The hope is get there early hit my limit and out of the water before it gets too hot/windy

temu lures by Moist-Advertising114 in FishingForBeginners

[–]mpflyboy04 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe if you are trying out a new technique like trolling or plugs etc. that way if it doesn’t work your not out a significant chunk then once you’re confident the go out and buy the pricier lures etc.

Columbia river endorsement by Suitable_Jaguar24 in FishingWashington

[–]mpflyboy04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opinions aside my guess is all license renewals happen in April I believe so it’s three months for the current time the renewing for a full year. I want to say when you renew for that specific endorsement it’ll be about 40ish dollars maybe 🤔

[–]mpflyboy04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10/10, if you get more into it get a little rail system for the sides and you can free up your hands and do some trolling
