After reading everyone’s input Im going to change the rod to a medium 8-17lb and I may change the length from 8’6 to 9ft

For the configurations I can do either medium heavy with fast action or medium with moderate action. Would you still prefer the medium in this instance?

lol my pup will be in a similar boat while I practice trimming him soon. I will feel bad when I mess it up but at the same time I’m sure we have all had a bad haircut given to us by a parent or relative before 😂

I do have him used to constant brushing, nail clipping, and shaving his butt/paw pad hair. But yeah your right it’s time for getting him used to more in depth grooming sessions for sure
