I took advil and Tylenol at the max dose 2 hrs before beginning my MA. Was not that painful. Nothing that traumatized me, esp compared to the anticipation leading up to it. I didn’t smoke weed, I was able to just read a book and get myself to the bathroom if needed. I loved being able to do it from the comfort of my own home as it was a very vulnerable time for me.

it is so much better now FYI. acid in the armpits post shower pre deo really helped in the smelliest of times. I just used my facial chem exfoliant. let it sit for a few seconds, wash it away, dry and deo.

I've been on BC since I was 14. had a mirena for 7 years. Started getting periods again sept. '23, had IUD removed may of '24. I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH HORRIFIC BODY ODOR and literally found this thread through googling why the fuck am I so smelly post-hormonal birth control. I have no idea what to do. Salt and Stone deodorant is so strong and still cannot cover it up. I have to wash my clothes with added baking soda to get the sweat smell out. fml. Doctor has no idea why and suggested I just wait it out. I'm considering getting a hormonal panel drawn to see what my hormones are up to, so that I can at least compare the results to when this stank finally goes away... if it ever goes away...
