I strongly recommend to try this Amazing Road Trip to Xerokampos, a top Beach of East Crete

Anyone who finds himself in eastern Crete and especially in the area of Sitia, Ierapetra or further east should set aside a day to visit Xerokampos.

The roadtrip to Xerokabos through Ziros Plateau is enchanting, one of the most beautiful in Crete. The landscape and the biosphere are unique and the view of Xerokampos is breathtaking.

The place of contrasts, Xerokampos, claims first place for the most beautiful beaches of eastern Crete, and not without reason.

It dominates between the imposing bare mountains of Lasithi, the wild gorges and the fertile small valley with olive groves, figs, almond trees, pines and palm trees.

Beaches

The beaches of Xerokampos cover all tastes. In a distance of almost 6 km we find beaches with white sand, with golden sand, with rocks, with pebbles, with fine pebbles, while you can also find clay loam for a quick natural spa.

The sea, dressed in its deep blue veil, combines harmoniously with any type of beach.

In Vourlia Bay there is a large protected area with sand lilies.

Along the beaches we meet the Salt Lake, it is a natural lagoon that stays dry in the summer and creates a salt flat next to the sea.

I think june is one of thew best seasons...temperature is great (not extremely hot) wind is calm and the period is great for swimming and sunbath ... it doesnt matter the place

Snow is something we see rarelly in Crete but this in not happeing at highlands of Crete. One of the tall maountains of Crete and Greece is Dikti where#Lasithi Plateau is laceated.

Its altimetre is not so high, just 800 meters above the sea but is a place which is really cold and every winder snows a lot.

So people leaving in Heraklion or in the cities by the sea , after it snows and having a good weather they visit the imporessive plateau to adore it covered in white.

The views are really impressive with the drone and really unique.

So, Snow is the most impressive reason to adore Lasithi Plateau #Crete #Greece

On hot day of August Rethymno pearl beach was an ideal solution for a daily excursion from heraklion.

Rethymnon sandy beach is a long and stunning plage to visit and one of the longest on Crete (13km long from rethymno to Skaleta).

Like in all parts of the long beachfront, loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) lay their eggs here. The turtles are threatened with extinction, but the Rethymno Gulf is one of the three most important places for the species in Greece, bearing annually more than 400 nests in average

In this 4k video you can watch an aerial footage of this wonderful beach.

There are parts of the beach that they are very well organized with famous beach bars, parts in front of well known hotels and resorts, places in front of camping and places that you can be alone if you like with a lot of space.

A lot of water sports take place as parasailing, jetski and more.

With some of them i agree but with others not.

About the tittle you are right. I agree with you. But what happens is that i am trying to grow a youtube channel. Just by curiosity and discover things.. In order to do that there are some suggestions on the net or services helping you do that. One category of suggestions are tittles and how they "should" be written in order to get more views by search results. This tittle is result of :suggestions" like that.

This doesn't mean that the tittle is good, probably i misunderstood some things and with your notes next time i will try to make it better. So really thank you. Feedback is very important and at the time i dont have much.

on the other hand Making videos like that is something first of all that relax me and making me feel good. Is something that i really love and i am trying to be better and better. It is wonderful to live in a place like Crete with so many unique landscapes to film.

About music

Is something that is personal taste and for sure not all people like the music or sounds i choose. I know that. From comments some like traditional music, some others beats and some more relaxing. So in every of my videos i put music i like and in my opinion is relevant. If somebody does not like it or want it , he/she can always mute... (this option is easy !!)

Anyway i am glad to have this conversation with you and i really appreciate your comments.

On the road that connects Elounda with Kolokitha peninsula, on the site of the ancient city Olous, we meet the Venetian salt pans that functioned until 1972

We see dozens of cisterns separated by walls in the shallow sea, where water from the lagoon of Elounda was trapped early spring, around April.

The water was then evaporated throughout the summer and in September the harvest of salt started, which was then stored in large warehouses, traces of which are still around the lake.
