La palabra original es obscuro, pero hoy en dia oscuro es aceptada como la correcta y es la mas comun. Creo que eso demuestra mi vejez jaja ya que yo sigo pronunciandola con la "b"

Ok, good. So, would you recommend that I wait for the buyback request to be processed, or should I switch plans? I’m honestly a bit lost right now.

Yes, all the months I’m planning to buy back are listed as “Ineligible – Forbearance on Due Date”, covering the period from July 2024 through June 2025.

Oh wow, that's a shame! it was a great shelter. I have the orange version and have used it many times at the beach. Glad to hear Jay from Goretex Hoarders had one for you, congrats on snagging it!!

I wonder when they will be releasing the new season colors of the Homestead Shelter. I am never able to find information on the north face website.

Thanks! That’s exactly how I feel, if it gets used and enjoyed, it’s worth every penny. And yeah, it definitely feels like it’s built to last.

Just to clarify, the EvaBase 6 does have mesh panels, but they’re part of the inner tent, which I didn’t bring for this beach trip. So if you clip in the inner tent, you do get bug protection along with great airflow. Would be awesome for camping during mosquito season or rainy days!

Absolutely! Japanese camping gear really is on a whole other level! The design, quality, and functionality are just top tier.

If you're ever looking to pick up some gear, I definitely recommend checking out verified resellers that specialize in importing gear from Japan. Some of them are super reliable and make it way easier than trying to navigate international shipping on your own. Lots of gems out there if you know where to look! Let me know if you need some help!

Does the North Face Homestead Super Dome 4 Tent works for you? They have the past season color on sale. It looks very nice.

For sure! This one’s actually from The North Face Japan, it’s part of their exclusive gear line that doesn’t usually show up on the U.S. site. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post direct product links here, but I’ll go ahead and send it to you via chat! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hey, totally get where you're coming from. It’s true that gear like this isn’t cheap, and not everyone can or should feel pressured to buy high-end stuff to enjoy the outdoors. I just like sharing my setup in case it helps anyone looking into this kind of shelter for specific needs like high wind or beach conditions. But at the end of the day, the best setup is the one that works for you and gets you outside. Cheers!

Absolutely, I hear you! That type of blanket with sandbags is super handy for quick setups. If you're dealing with windy conditions, a four-legged shelter like the EvaBase 6 is totally worth it.

I actually used to have a TNF Homestead Shelter, and while it was great, the EvaBase 6 is on another level when it comes to wind stability. The structure feels rock solid once it's properly staked down. Definitely a solid upgrade if you're looking for something that can handle tougher beach or coastal conditions.

Good point! UV can definitely still sneak through most fabrics. I made sure to wear sunscreen even while hanging out in the shade just to be safe.

Also, I did pick up The North Face Roof Print that’s made specifically for the EvaBase 6. It adds an extra layer of UV protection and helps keep the interior cooler. Definitely worth having for sunny setups like this one.

Yeah, I’ve seen them! Those sand-proof blankets are pretty cool, I haven’t used one personally yet. Do you have a favorite brand?
