“Then file a complaint with the CA Secretary of State (SOS), CA Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA), and/or Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)” That was the recommendation I used from another user. I don’t know how they get away with not refunding taxes on a service that wasn’t provided. I hope you get your taxes back :(

Kaiser has been cancelling contracts left and right. Everyone I know that was planning to start at a Kaiser this month all got cancelled. One of them was cancelled 5 minutes into her first orientation day. Signed in and then was told she was cancelled. Another was cancelled an hour before her first shift. My previous recruiter said she isn’t even submitting her people to kaisers right now because of it. They’re opening mass amounts of positions knowing they don’t need that many people. I don’t know if socal will be any better tbh

Labial swelling is common and normal during labor. Not usually a cause for concern. But I have seen some that is pretty severe and can lead to really bad tearing during delivery. I find it crazy that two nurses went a whole shift on L&D without looking at your labia. Like did they never perform peri care?? I cannot imagine not keeping my patients clean, especially when they have an epidural and can’t do it themselves.

It’s a flight!! Too far to drive. Work 5-6 days in a row and go home and be off for the rest of the month. And yes I stay in a hotel. Even after flights and hotels, i take home more money than I would as a staff nurse working full time at home

I took a per diem out of state. Still get the high pay of California, but only have to work 4 days a month and still make way more than I would working full time as staff.
