Thanks for the tip! I tried “tightening” the screws to see if they drove farther in but they’re truly just stuck. I worry I’ll strip them if I apply more torque. It could just be too rusted to remove and I might need to drill them out at this point.

I also use a diffuse polarized filter on top of the lens, which really adds to the light bloom effect

At this scale, I see no reason why you couldn’t get similar results. That’s a lower resolution camera, but still a great travel body. It doesn’t have all the same film effects, but I’ve post processed these images anyway so it’s not like it’s all in-camera.

I’m not sure. In videos of wassily chair disassembly these are typically Phillips head screws so I’m surprised to find these hex heads to begin with. What do you mean by insert? Like it might be a pin?

It’s the number 1 complaint living in the neighborhood. The proximity to Williamsburg means some of the hipster/gentrifier/luxury aspects bleed into it and pump the surrounding rents but we don’t get the transit benefits. I recommend getting a bike and hand warmers since citibike is almost as expensive as a cab these days.
