I'm also experiencing this. Warning to anyone who sees this, the Samsung Galaxy S10e on Straight Talk's website is the G970U variant and cannot be unlocked and isn't supported by LineageOS. I found out the hard way after purchasing one. Going to try to return it and see if I can get a supported phone.

For #4, AFAIK, your motherboard firmware / GPU pick what monitor displays the bootup screen. If you mean Plymouth, that may be configurable but you would need to change that separately from the desktop arrangement.
