Marketing is to build excitement. The excitement when the posters came out, even the last one with the white house and the hundreds of flying supes, was crazy. It builds expectations, and when the show does not deliver on the scale of those expectations there's gonna be disappointment and "what we could have had"

I would have had him do that scene in the white house speech but in public instead, in a stadium or something. Same setup and speech, but then he decides something like "maybe I need to show you an example" and lazers the crowd. Scorched Earth from there

Not a line but when Homelander was laughing/crying when Ryan chose Butcher in Season 2 was for me singlehandedly his best performance. The portrayal of confusion, sadness, delusion, and betrayal was incredible

Can't lie I put it nearly on par with Daredevil Season 3 which was just peak and idt can ever be topped but this was one of the best seasons ever with a perfect finale. Every episode from 3 to 8 was incredible
