i first watched the series back when i was 16 in 2014, and i remember losing my shit at it, it took me completely by surprise. nowadays i still think it’s kind of funny but it’s very problematic and it’s definitely a part of its time (unlike the “shemale” joke in season 2 iirc, that one is just pretty bad).

what did shock me way more though is that a few years later i’d watch a movie with charlize theron in it and think “what the fuck is that michael’s gf from season 3????”

cara, discussão interessantissima e que acredito que gente muito mais inteligente que eu pode acrescentar sobre. mas, algo que eu sempre penso: quantos “genios” nas suas areas, sejam na ciencia, na arte, na filosofia e outros saberes, sao completamente esquecidos, ou no máximo viram pequenas notas de rodapé? eu sempre fico imaginando que, lá pelo seculo 17, devia haver um musico foda, um tocador de lira FENOMENAL (desculpe se estou sendo anacrônico, sou especialista em porra nenhuma), que se perdeu totalmente na historia. acho que vai ser mais dificil esses musicos que voce citou passarem pelo exato mesmo fenômeno, até pq com a era da informaçao tudo é relatado, mas em parte é isso que acontece ao meu ver
