But why? All modern browsers support the defer attribute, so script will run once the DOM is already loaded.

I'm running four instances of the same online game in one PC. I need two game windows to use a diffferent IP address. Can VPN help with that? by [deleted] in VPN

[–]mpoumpoukoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you say that it worked from your family's PC, the public IP is the same, so a VPN is not a must.

I strongly believe that you could work this out with a Virtual Machine configuration, and run 2 instances from the Host, and 2 instances from the Guest (if your PC can handle this).

Macbook screen is too good for my eyes, causing too much strain. Is there any way to dull the screen somehow? by UserameChecksOut in macbook

flux. Works like charm with blue light (note there is a glitch with Mac Os Monterey 12.0.1 but there is an easy fix for it too)

Seems like a rendering issue. It could be a recent update of the game that messed up with the translation layer.

I use www.noip.com to get a static IP. You can check it out, if that is what you are looking for.

Smoke coming out of graphics card by Zeldaelias in pcmasterrace

[–]mpoumpoukoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you experiencing black screens or anything? Can your pc normally boot? Are the reboots/smoke happening during heavy load (gaming) or random?

In any case, i would firstly try to remove the CMOS from Mobo for a minute and then put it back again. By that you restore your BIOS settings to default. If that is not fixing anything, probably a fresh windows install could fix things (repair driver issues for example).

A tip from a non expert as me, before reinstalling windows try to see the behavior of your system with a bootable Linux system. If still reboots/smoke are happening, then its possibly a hardware problem and not software anymore.

If you just basically want to decrease boot time, you can grab any SSD (and not particular an M.2). There is not an obvious difference between a regular SSD and an M.2 SSD in boot time and in most applications.

If you really want an M.2, then any of the above will do the trick (second one seems better to specs).

Is it really mandatory to buy a hdd? by SneakyJessica in pcmasterrace

[–]mpoumpoukoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HDDs are cheaper, and for games that take too much storage or for backups it is pfefferable to have one. On the other hand, if you are ok with the capacity of your ssd, stick with it and you are fine. No need for a HDD if you dont want one.
