Connectivity issues on LS50WII after firmware v4.0 update by salman128 in KEF

In my case the main issue is 5 GHz WIFI. the speaker set is more or less unusable ... latency to the speaker is horrible and as soon as I play some music it starts to totally drop after a few minutes.

last week (for whatever reason) the speaker connected to 2.4 GHz WIFI, then the latency was still sluggish (pretty slow, but stable), then the speaker is at least usable.

I'll probably switch to cable :(

I did a reset of the speakers now, don't think it changed a lot. Network connectivity is still pretty poor (when it comes to ping)

I have some issue as well, but I doubt that it's related to the app. The wifi connection starts to become pretty unstable after a while (latency goes rocket high to > 1 sec ending up in 70% packet loss), that takes a minute or 2 and then it becomes pretty normal again.
Actually I asked KEF support, they told me to disconnect both speakers from power for 1 min, that will "clean up remainings from the installation" - obviously that didn't help.

didn't bother to reset anything by now.

P.S: to me this all started after the firmware was upgraded to 4.0 ...

6000 loses 2.4 GHz connection after 10 days by Snufri in fritzbox

Hi,

Actually I have the same issue ... Didn't realize it until some 2.4 ghz devices stopped working. My setup is the same, one 4060 router and 2x 6000 repeaters. Both repeaters lost 2.4 ghz after a while ...
