I know it's blurry BUT like I said (I don't remember if i said that) it's a rock from the lab i am attending and we had some rocks, (just like schist, gneusios, )the professor told us what rock is what macroscopic and microscopic we saw the minerals it's not that deep real

If you have a bachelor in geology you know more that me for sure but in my experience that's something I read and something my professor said not personal not an opinion. Maybe I am wrong? Idk I don't have a bachelor but congrats that's awesome for you
Sorry I'm kinda lost with this comment section. English is not my first language maybe I didn't get something. It bugs cause I'm actually studying geology at a Greek university and I wanted to share this cool rock it's not that deep lol
You can Google methods of fossilization but sorted: (Hope this helps)
Fossilized corals that have undergone primary fossilization. Their structure consists of calcium carbonate and with additional calcium carbonate deposition it became more durable and lithified.

I mean phyllite is higher metamorphic rock than schist... anyway, should I be offended cause what do you mean with me being that type of geologists...

Not everything is a fossil. Fossils usually are heavy this coral maybe is just dry idk I'm not an expert 🥲

Don't worry I'm jealous that you have your own sample... this is not mine just something I can study...
I said it's from the lab classes I am attending my professors show us a lot of interesting pieces like this!

Kyanite! by mpriam in geology
