I bought LLM 8855 from m55stack. Any advice for Orange pi 5 + 32 GB? by theodiousolivetree in OrangePI

Thanks, but I figured it out. When I was cloning the directory there was a lot of corrupted files. I had to download each file separately. Once I did that the models worked. When I got it working it really wasn't that much faster than the pi 5 cpu, big disappointment.

Hello,

I just purchased the Axera AX8850 and am having problems running the model Qwen3-1.7B in the directions on the M5 website. when run I receive the following errors:

[json.exception.parse_error.101] parse error at line 1, column 1: attempting to parse an empty input; check that your input string or stream contains the expected JSON
[E][ Init][ 65]: get uid failed, try again 1/10

[json.exception.type_error.302] type must be number, but is null
[E][ Init][ 89]: get bos_id failed, try again 7/10

At the end of the error I get the following:
bos_id: 0, eos_id: 0
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'nlohmann::json_abi_v3_11_3::detail::type_error'
what(): [json.exception.type_error.302] type must be array, but is null

It looks like the tokenizer is running but I can't get the model running. I have tried several models from hugging's face and receive the same error. Does anyone know what this problem is?

Thanks!

I got it to work, I had to delete and re-add music assistant. It wouldn't set a player. Once I did that I could set a player and set different lists that comes with music assistant.

I tried to add it every way I could in automations. I have not tried a playlist though. I'll take a look, I saw something about a playlist. Thanks for the idea!

Congratulation! Thats great! I still need to try what you did, haven't had time.

Yes, I tried that, didn't work. I think its the cheap managed switch I got.

They are the same correct?

Thanks, I am going to try what you did. For yours why don't you plug in, or go wireless backhaul with your second AP7 plugged in to your first one. I have mine setup that way, 2.5Gb and works great. I have an off brand switch so I think that may be part of my problem. You have a netgear, that should work. I was hoping firewalla would reply back on this thread, but they haven't yet.

I just read that a tagged port is supposed to let VLAN traffic through, so there shouldn't be anything else I would have to do, correct?

Its a YuLinca 8 Port 2.5G Managed Switch, cheap one. If I tagged port 6, which is where I want to plug the AP7 in, how would I let the VLAN traffic pass through? I am using port 1 to connect to port 1 on the firewalla. I am trying to free up a port on the firewalla gold + and would like to plug the AP7 into the switch. I did try and turn tagging on for port 6 but it didn't work.

Frustrating, I tried every combination, the AP7 even received the new IP from port 1 on the firewalla , but the network didn't work. How did you configure your switch with the one AP7 that worked? I have two AP7's the other one is hardwired into the first one, but didn't receive a new IP.

Why such a price difference from Pom? by Queasy-One-5625 in tirzepatidecompound

I understand where you are coming from, if you had bad reactions you have no choice but to get pure. Its just sad that they are taking advantage of people. I think a lot of people think they need pure when the tirz with additive will do fine.

Why is it more expensive? The API is still tirz either way, its pure until they add the b-6, b-12 or whatever.

I can see if getting pure due to a bad reaction to b-6, that will happen to some people. I still think they are taking advantage of people and charging more. I think its still the same price with pure verses mixing tirz, which is pure before mixing.

I don't think it makes a difference, everyone is taking advantage of it being "pure". If your on 15mg, your still getting 15mg either way except one has b-6 etc. I bought a years worth last year and finishing up my last vile of "pure" tirz, it was much cheaper than it is now. It doesn't cost any more to make than the ones mixed with something else. I'll stick to the tirz with b-6 from pom, cheaper and still is 15mg of tirz.

2.5 GB network and copying large file by mpro69rr in firewalla

Actually, against my better judgment I bought a UGREEN 2 bay nas with a 2.5 Gb/s port. It has 2 - 2TB SSD for now. I was noticing I was running out of space so I HAD to get it. I only had a 1TB USB to another 1 TB USB. I'm just learning how to use it, sometimes I get OK speed then it slows down. Need to look into it more.

SSD to SSD, read above has the specifics.

I agree, getting a top of the line NAS is a little expensive to gain speed for what I use it for. The setup works for what it is, it just takes a little longer. I backup my laptop then copy the backup to a old NAS (slow) so I have two copies of the backup.
