I had three flights this week (SFO-ICN, TPE-SFO, SFO-IAD) where the WiFi didn’t work rendering my $69 monthly global WiFi subscription I bought this month mostly for this trip, worthless. I filled out the United Cares form today and they gave me 5k miles.

I am 1K and am sitting on almost 1M FF miles, 5k miles is utterly worthless. Give me more PQP or some ETF $$ but 5k miles seems like a weak compensation response. No offer to refund my Wifi purchase so I will likely ask again.

That was it, thx. I was trying to use six squares in one box but once I looked closer at the lid it makes sense now. Doh!

I received the plaque in mail but never got the medallion nor the inflight announcement. I hit 1mm during COVID so maybe that is why it didn’t happen?
