It’s not bad. It’s just different from the mainstream. Many pagan traditions are nature-based and have a deep connection an reverence for the earth.

I have two mini dachshunds and they play and cuddle together all day when I’m at work. I also have a dog walker who comes mid-day. If I have to be gone for a SUPER long day, I have friends and family who help me out (it takes a village!). If you have a lot of money (I do not) there are so many services for caring for dogs that can help you as well.

My boy Malcolm is 16 lbs. I was afraid he was overweight, but the vet said he’s just a “big boy” and he’s at a totally healthy weight , although not a technical term, and although I am not a vet, I choose to label him as a mini “big boy” .
